about

The Darklings have experienced an incredible amount of growth in the past 9 years, taking their band all the way from the highly electro "Venus Blush" to the less synth heavy "Shelter" and now with the release of "This Bridge" the band has come into their own with a soundscape of beautifully woven melodies and passionate vocals.

Each track has it's own energy, from the devotional, "Amma" to the passionate title track "This Bridge" but it is the soul-baring lyrics to "Father Scorpio" offering such intimacy and heart-wrenching honesty, that make this collection of songs worth spending your time with.

"This Bridge" is Demonika and the Darkling's Swan Song; they have added two new members, now call themselves "The Darklings" and will no doubt continue on in the same vein, putting out exceptional future releases, beginning with the forthcoming, "Rip At The Seams."

Until then, there is "This Bridge" leaving it's mark on the listener's heart while offering hope of even greater music to come.
